Theme:
"It's not good enough"
The word "creative" has become almost a mantra for contemporary information and
technology oriented Western society. Getting into a creative process involves a person on
psychological and cognitive levels. It is, first and foremost, a conceptual activity and it may
be easily restrained, interrupted or limited. One way of overcoming any block to creativity is
to invert it: to use it somehow as an element of the process.

Each of the EIN magazine issues is based on a theme that represents a creative block. EIN
is searching for artistic photo-projects that challenge the theme in a creative way. The theme
for EIN lab: Interact! is "It's not good enough"

EINlab: Interact!- APV

On 7,8,9 of November 2012 TA collective organised Advanced Planning Visit in EIN studio. for Partner Organisations that cooperate on the upcoming 3 week residency workshops in Berlin in February/March 2012. The results of the visit will be announced soon!

See what our partners are up to:

Fotofestiwal (Poland) was born in 2001 as one of the first photography events in Poland. Since then, both photography and the ways of organising cultural events have changed. Fotofestiwal has always been up to date with these changes. It is intended as a space for various forms of photography and a forum for discussion on art and society, but also as a search for alternative methods of talking about photography and presenting it.

Association ISSP (Latvia) is a non-commercial education and networking platform for photographers in Latvia and internationally, that works to offer high-quality alternative education for young photographers and to encourage cross-border exchange of ideas in the art of photography.
Fotopub  (Slovenia) is launched in 2000 by LokalPatriot Institute as an international summer photography workshop, the Fotopub Festival of Documentary Photography has since developed into a significant annual event dedicated entirely to documentary photography, with up to 10 exhibitions, a set of workshops, lectures, and screenings of photo-stories. Taking place in Novo mesto, a vibrant cultural centre of the Dolenjska region in south-east Slovenia, an intimate and vital festival has succeeded to bring to the city a summertime influx of international visitors interested in photography, acclaimed professionals, as well as photography lovers of all generations.
